Question for you… How much are you in tune with your breath? I personally find it isn’t until the end of the day that I sometimes breathe. Okay - maybe not true. But it is literally the only time I stop and check on my breath. The whirlwind of the day keeps my attention away from my breath. I have to make a concerted effort to focus on what my breathing is like. Thank goodness breathing is an automatic unconscious function of the body! This week's video talks all about the Three Part Breath and its impact on physical and mental health. It is linked to hypopressive exercises (more on that other day), cardiovascular exercise, muscle co-contraction and yoga. Take a breath!
