It is a way to disconnect from life’s distractions, relax, and find your breath; all things you can do within the comfort of your own home or chosen space, along with the guidance of a Yoga Alliance 300 Registered Teacher (Lisa!).
Lisa’s therapeutic yoga sessions can be tailored to suit your needs and to best help with your main areas of concern. She will help make your yoga consultation and yoga therapy program your own with a full assessment of where you are in your healing journey. |
I am excited to help you along or get you started on your healing journey.
In addition to yoga instruction, I work as a clinical exercise physiologist and medical fitness consultant. My work shows me numerous ways every day in which movement and physical activity can help us. I believe movement to be an important tool we can use when dealing with the pains or discomfort caused by illness, disease, or injury. I also see yoga therapy as part of this toolbox. This is why I am thrilled to now offer one-on-one Zoom yoga therapy (private online yoga sessions). I earned my International Association of Yoga Therapy professional training eager to use other forms of physical activity to help others reach their own goals- whether those goals are to heal, to become more flexible, to improve our breathwork, or all of the above! Our sessions together will help you gain a better understanding of your body’s capacity for movement through my attentive, thoughtful, medical, and research-based approach to yoga therapy and teaching. Yoga is all about balance, so I combine my scientific and research-based approach with traditional yoga practices and teachings. |

Lisa aims to help those struggling with movement from either chronic pain or illness, disease, or injury. Expert yoga therapy consultation combined with therapeutic yoga exercises can help relieve some of the associated symptoms, the pain, or the discomfort with which you might struggle.
Yoga therapy is a commitment to improving your overall health and to increasing your flexibility or capacity for movement. The one-on-one sessions designed by Lisa are for those looking for change in their day-to-day lives, and those willing to explore the possibilities of movement through exercise. What ARE the possibilities for our movement?
