In Rhythm: Movement, Breath & Stillness is more than just a yoga class — it’s a way to bring our community together. This one-night event raises funds in support of the Edmonton Food Bank while also giving new participants the chance to experience Everyday Yoga before the Fall session begins.
The name In Rhythm reflects the many layers of the evening:

Event Details
When: Thursday, September 11th
Two Class Times: 6:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.
Where: Grandview Heights Community Hall (12603 63 avenue NW, Edmonton)
Yoga guided by Lisa Workman, Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher
Music
Playing music during a yoga class can create a calming atmosphere, support the flow of movement, and deepen the overall experience.

Supporting the Edmonton Food Bank
This special event also shines a light on the important work of the Edmonton Food Bank. Each month, the Food Bank provides food hampers to nearly 40,000 people and distributes more than 450,000 meals and snacks through schools, shelters, and community programs across the city.
September can be an especially difficult time for families. With back-to-school costs like fees, supplies, and clothing, household budgets are often stretched to the limit. This is when the support of the Food Bank becomes even more vital.
