A back injury that showed up unexpectedly and lingered much longer than expected. That early experience shaped how I saw my body—and for a while, I felt broken. But over the past 25 years—as a clinical exercise physiologist, kinesiologist, and yoga therapist—I’ve discovered something powerful: Pain is not the enemy. It’s not a diagnosis.
